Obviously there is some point at which an increase in taxation slows the economy and leads to lower revenues, or a decrease in taxation accelerates economic growth enough to compensate for the lower rates.

Last year AG raised rates about 5 times to slow the economy down. Obviously this is not the time for a big tax cut. The best case scenario is that it drives interest rates up. The worst case scenario is that we go back into deficit spending, like they did in Texas after they listened to dumb George.
