Neo's God made you and me human, too. We're just too fill-in-the-blank to realize it.

Perhaps it was Neo, not his god?! Anyhow, I contend that there is more meaning and more humanity in a world view without a God. I will not insist that believers in eternal life cannot have a whole lot of meaning--but I will state that their case is WEAK.

The creatures in Russell's world would not be human. Neo's God made you and me human, too. We're just too fill-in-the-blank to realize it.

Oh, I see where the misunderstanding has occurred. You believe that Russell's use of the word inhuman in his excerpt was his concept of humanity? Perhaps if you re-read the excerpt for the gist and the point, it will become clear to you that Russell considers our world to be nothing but human--as well as godless--more human than slavish beggars and stumbling magicians could ever make it...

Of course, there is a sublety in you tone. Perhaps you are employing some satire.
