OK. Let;s cut at deal. Southern Cal can join if Northern Cal gets to secede. You have to take the governor and state legislature. Oh, and Franchise Tax Board. We get to keep our water. The CA aqueduct gets cut at the border. We get Carmel and Santa Barbara; you have to take Santa Cruz and Berzerkeley. You may expel their populations to any country crazy enough to take them. I'd suggest contacting Libya or Iraq.
