The Democratic politicians are beating the same "light rail" dead horse down here in Orange County. We almost bought the "money losing" Toll Roads back from the builders (would have saved theirbutts) but for the intervention of some clearer heads. Projected ridership of light rail and use of toll roads has been overly optimistic to say the least.

The rest of us can drive our trucks and SUVs with $2.00 plus gas prices. I love it. I hope for much higher gas prices. Yesterday, I took the bus to the Seattle Mariners game and I had lots of company. The rest of the suckers can stay poor with their gas guzzing monsters. I applaud the Bush policy. It means more and more congestion and higher and higher prices. It has started already. Bring it on!

You're helping the Twin Cities build a Billion Dollar Boondoggle of a trolly too. Many thanks.

I don't suppose it occurred to anyone in Seattle that they can build their own GD rail system without robbing the rest of us to pay for it...
