The article does ramble quite a bit. It is still very interesting that even in the book niche Amazon is being convincingly beaten, both by Barnes and Noble taking market share away from it, and by Ebay which is moving more merchandise in that area than Amazon.

I'm currently short on Amazon. Even if they achieve profitability, their margins are tiny, and their competitors are eating up their lunch. Are there any good news about this company bottom-line wise?

It seems to me that if Amazon gets financing/stops cash bleed target share price is $3-6, if they don't target share price is $0 (bankruptcy).
