What are you talking about???? None of what you just posted is true. No one is going to cancel your limit sale. It's "good till canceled". Sounds like you need a new broker. Now, it used to be that the NASDAQ didn't take GTC orders but that has also changed.

Having your certificates in a cash account does not mean they are unavailable for shorting. You need to take delivery to prevent that. As I said, you need a new "honest" broker. More likely, he just errantly entered your order as a day order instead of a GTC order.

Michael, just looked at my NEM GTC order and saw Bid .01 and Ask 33.56
Looks like our free market at work here, nope, no conspiracy, no game playing ;-)
