The semis haven't seen bottom yet. Maybe this sector will finally bottom by the end of summer. Intel v. AMD price war is seen by some analysts. I think we will see product and market positioning before this fall as both try to capture orders for the Fall/Christmas buying season. Intel is likely to try to pre-empt AMD's push into the corporate workstation market to thwart entry of the new dual processor systems. Despite posturing by Sanders, AMD will be unlikely to avoid somewhat of a price war as Intel's fat margins are squarely in AMD's sights. AMD has more to gain than to lose in the long run; better positioned products and growing reputation for delivering on promises v. Intel's problematic recent history.

I will wait and watch as the dust gets kicked up by these two and the summer doldrums run it's course before attempting to pick a bottom or otherwise favorable entry point.
