Bambs;

Looking at the p/e after extraordinary items is ridiculous. Most reporting services carve out such items which would bring cpq's p/e somewhere in the twenties.

bambs,
The move down tomorrow will be toooo fast to short and then your left with support in the 15 area. I play both sides, but not on CPQ. Any good news and it grinds back up to 20 or 21. Shorting a Fortune 100 company in the teens is very risky business. Better to play it long at $15.

I have better luck with some of the more overvalued stocks. Check out MWD. IMHO it's about ripe for a good down swing. It could drop back to $50 area from the mid 60s and give you more room for sell stops along the way.
