They get to fish all the time. Their mom and grandma take 'em all the time. They have a pond right there. They pretty much go on their own now, too. To fish. Catch frogs. Whatever. People just put a pole over their shoulder and walk to a pond around here. Or down to the river. It's a nice thought, thanks, but they're covered. Spent many an evening watching the bubbles in my beer when the conversation turned to the wonders of some fishing pole or other. And the new, fancy reels. And what lures to use. Oy. Now catching salamanders... that can be fun.
