More than Tech giving warnings................Medical device maker Guidant Corp. (GDT: Research, Estimates) reported an
increase in first-quarter earnings from a year ago, in line with Wall Street's
expectations on increasing sales, but warned the slowing economy would
cause it to miss second quarter earnings.

Newvision, there were a lot of elements to get people bullish over the last week or so - me too, but i follow short term movements and support/resistance and watch daily action at these levels.

the posts i made on this thread today and the charts i posted showed countertrend rally breaks on gaps and black candles, these were on leadership stocks.

the kind of reversals we made today remind me of reversals made in mid july, late august, and late january.

i use elliot wave and have a long term wave count (days-weeks) but my short term wave counts rule the long term wave counts, because longer term wave counts are harder to nail, we made a top last week, overbought on every indicator, so i sold and went short and was looking for a pullback in an uptrend, todays action looks bearish to me.

i see tons of charts that made modified evening stars at gaps and other resistance.

i cud be wrong, and if the bullz take control back i'll eat my shortz and humble pie.
