Heron- when you say the semis are just heating up, do you mean ready to move higher or lower? -) Man- my timing is almost always off.. I have so many small shorts in CCMP now that it took time to figure out the frickn average.. My temper caught me last week, so im really only playing out what I have currently and not getting into any new positions till maybe CORV tomorrow.. I shorted NVLS 3 minutes before the fed surprise.. I pull into work, hit the cell phone for a quick quote and was like 'hah.. yeah right'.. than I see the dow up 330.. I didnt mind the loses in MU and CCMP short positions, but the NVLS was the icing because you start thinking- damn! 3 minutes.. the fastest loss in my life, and the fact was you just have to swallow and move on.. Its like an earnings warning or some other unexpected that you cant position around.. Mind you, it wasnt a large loss, but it just got me angree to the point where I wanted to immediately jump back into something for a trade to make the money back.. Thats how it starts.. I realized a few years ago that the only thing that stands between me and making decent/consistent returns each year in the markets is my temper.. Problem is, I have had this temper since I was born- so it will never go away.. Its a battle every day, and really REALLY sucks.. The good news was I beat it this time.. I held back and bit the bullet.. but now im regrouping :)
