Most of the breadth indicators hit levels associated with intermediate-term tops (3-6 month) on Wednesday and are starting to roll over. The Fed rate cut day gave a major oomph to push them over the top. Of course, the old intermediate-term tops pre-1999 volatility is of the current 1-3 month variety. But that's just how Easy Al likes it. It lines the pockets of the market makers and specialists all the more frequent.
