8:12AM Compaq (CPQ) 20.65: Prudential downgrades to HOLD from STRONG BUY amid concerns that Compaq is waging a margin battle they will not win, and sacrificing profit long term; while firm does not see significant downside to the shares, doesn't see any near term catalysts either.

NW...DELL down 2.5%, CPQ down 10.5%...don't worry, if DELL warns this quarter, CPQ will drop another 10% and DELL will drop another 2%.....

Bottom line is DELL is eating CPQ's LUNCH and CPQ investors have been in denial for about 5 years....
