More on Hitchens, I see.

"Vilifying"?

Only insofaras he told untruths.

I haven't read Hitchen's book. Did he tell untruths about Mother Teresa, or tell the truth, which you have said here isn't that important to you, where heroes are concerned?

What do you doubt? The part about birth control? The stats on population, poverty, and malnourished children in India? That millions of dollars were contributed by those who believed they were helping to relieve the sufferings of the poor? That her clinics were primitive, unsterile places? That she believed the suffering of the poor was a good thing? That she thought it pleased God for cancer patients to die without pain killers? That she opened never opened a real hospital that offered good medical care of the sort she elected for herself, the millions she had banked notwithstanding? That she felt it better for a child to be born and die of starvation than for two adults to use a condom?

Which of those do you doubt?

Which of them do you admire?
