None of it has to coincide, but of course, they often do. The very best setups are when standard TA, Elliott, cycles, and fundamentals all line up. They are a gift. Some people approach trading this way and only scan for setups that all the stars line up just right. TA and Elliott frequently conincide. A simple example would be when Elliott is showing a potential wave 3 beginning and TA is showing that hard resistance is being taken out. That's sweet. Cheers
