Hi Mark, it sure sounds as though you are not really saving the change to the file. at least try closing and reopening the file to see if the new line is still there. Thanks for the reply! Now why didn't I think of that? I think TC has the answer in post #19032. I know better than to try to edit my registry. That is really over my head! Bicycle seems to have an answer (post#19034) that even I could handle. I will post to him for clarification next. Thanks again for your help. Bob
