That is so ironic you should say that. We were talking today with our friend who tried to escape from Viet Nam three times, and finally made it.
One time a cousin was caught and remains in prison to this day in Viet Nam. That escape attempt was 14 years ago.

My daughter asked Vinny, why he chose the U.S. and not Australia, England..etc. His reply was simple and straight forward...."Everyone wants to come to the U.S."

Not everyone who lives here understands that.

These are the people who have never had to scrape out an existence in one of these undeveloped nations.

When I see people paying thousands of dollars, or selling themselves in indentured servitude as sex slaves, merely to emigrate from the US to China, then I'll start feeling ashamed of our country.
