Monthly Pitchforks on the DJIA have not been broken. Yes, price has closed below the median line, but the bar remains attached to the median line. This monthly fork is still active..., positive and rising. Using Handle: week 3 july 98 high Spread: sept 98 low --- jan 2000 high Weekly charts and with that same fork shows exactly the same thing. This fork is still active, positive and rising. NOTE: To have a bar close below this median line unattached, would increase substantially the attraction of the lower tine at 8000 for the weekly and 7750 for the monthly.
