Coercion is a less dignified motive for being good, to be sure. I think we primarily internalize moral judgments, and approve or disapprove of our own behavior.

I think that it is an interesting point that we seem to reiterate the original sin.

Although the terms are not hard and fast, the general points of the rest of the post are good..........
