Hurricane seasons usually doesn't start until mid-June, they tend to be more likely around July and later ...

so we probably won't see a strong hurricane until the hot weather kicks in.

This means their sceanario for lower prices is probably okay.

I don't think they have hurricanes factored in, however.

Perhaps they are attributing the drop below $4 to lower demand for the next couple of months. Businesses are certainly trying to cut back because of the rise in price - some are cutting back because business has slowed. Some businesses such as the aluminum producers in the Northwest are being told to shut down because they use too much energy. When the heat is on this summer, look out. Here in NJ we are having 80+ degree days already.
