John, What keeps em honest is, believe it or not, these message boards. When E-trade screwed me once before, I made a comment on a message board, only to be contacted by the NY Times. I never saw the article, but I understand it didn't exactly flatter ET. As for class actions, I have been thinking of doing one having to do with the way interest is counted by brokers. Its only pennies, but those pennies amount to millions. Take the problem I just had with ET. It credited the money I had coming, a week late, and did'nt do it retroactively as it said it would. I should have earned interest on it for that week. Richard
