Yes ...lots of snake oil salesmen in futures biz. Best Direct, Leoweb are rather old technology and don't make the grade. Interactive brokers is the first futures firm I have seen that practices full disclosure and their TWS platform is very nice. Patsystems has a very similar platform to IB but not quite as user friendly for short term trading. Hopefully we'll see more platforms come to market over the summer as all of these futures brokers are anticipating the rollout of single stock futures in the fall/winter. Even alot of stock daytrading firms are planning to offer emini futures trading later this year so the disclosure/support/software should increase dramatically soon. Here's hoping anyways.
