I guess the smart thing to do is buy oil company stocks and use the profits to fund the increased cost of your gasoline.

I think it is sadly humorous that everyone is mad XOM et al are making profits here and are being accused og gouging when no one cared they were all losing money and about to go under when gas prices were low a few years ago.

People seem to forget these are businesses, not charities. I read gas consumption was actually higher lately than normal despite high prices. I guess it is like the news that a species is about to go extinct so all the hunters run out to shoot it so they can be the last to have one on their wall. -ggg-
