Esteban,
I don't know; I'm kind of quirky; if the current one is quiet, I'll keep it. Gosh, if I had to replace the Mobo and CPU in a year with a new, higher-powered one ... (VBG). I think I mentioned before that I would swap out 24X CDROMS and put in 8X to cut down on noise. Heck, I took apart my HDTV tuner and pulled out the fan. If I get a case with a fan besides the power supply fan, I pull it out. In fact, up until the Pentium II's, I used to pull the fans out of the power supply if they started getting noisy. Just left the top off the power supply and let convection do the job. Those days are past, though <g>. Besides, I've still got Pentium 66's and pentium pros that have refused to die and they had near the wattage of the AMD's. (The AMD 1.333 has a peak dissipation of 72 Watts and I think those other two were in the low to mid 60's, although I think they did have a larger area to radiate the heat through; maybe significantly so, hmm). Did I mention I'm quirky about noise as well ... :)
