I was a bit of a firebug when a teen. A friend said he knew how to make napalm. Off we go to collect plastic bottles and other supplies best left unmentioned. One ingredient that we didn't have was diesel fuel but felt gas would work as well (big mistake). Anyhow we made our jell, filled our bottle, looked at our lame ass igniter and then made some really awesome improvements on that phase (really f-ing big mistake). Off we go to try our invention. We are extremely fortunate that I had a very good arm in those days. Lit the fuse and gave it a hoist for all that I was worth. Succeeded in launching far enough that it was still 10' in the air when all hell broke loose. Suffice it to say that 40 acres of grass field later I never had the urge to try that nonsense again. I still thank God that nobody including myself got hurt.
