As a rule of thumb, round lots (multiples of 100 for most stocks) trade more easily that odd lots. 625 is just as odd as 637 so forget that one.

always round down or up to the nearest 100, odd lots can really screw ya up at times as market makers dont like to deal with odd lots and the NASD allows them to charge extra to do them thereby giving them an excuse to NOT do them.
