NV. you have a point, but there is no one i know at Dell in a position of authority that would talk like that prior to any substantive news release, relative to Intel's comments. the individual I spoke with chuckled about Dell being confused about comments from Intel but would not deny the comments nor support them. releasing information to analysts, now, before it is also released to the public at large violates certain rules. CPQ was bullish on the 2nd half relative to earnings. Maybe we should reinterpret these CPQ's statements, as well, to be negative. some companies are playing political games of late and Dell is not immune.
