milo, and it sure is losing it.
This war of attrition only works because AMD mobos cost more. So I see this as a planned act between Via and Intel to kill AMD. After AMD is dead Intel will be more content to share the bottom with Via, whom it feels it can control.

I've been an AMD long for some time now, and have lurked on this board as a non-member for almost as long. Was in the top ten in the last official earnings contest. Got into the stock at $18 & 37 (adjusted). Built two Athlon-based machines. Currently running slot A athlon o/c'd to 750. Lot's of fun...

I regretfully announce I got out of AMD completely yesterday, a tad on the net negative side. What a ride...

I think AMD is still a great company, but given the current socio-political and economic climate, I must submit that there's just too much uncertainty at this point
