Actually it's down after hours to 23.00 right now.

AMCC is really working over the reporters. They want a low expectation from First Call. I love it.

Things like:
"If you heard our guidance, it's pretty dismal."
"I'll believe recovery when I have hard orders in my hand."

They are setting up real low forcast numbers.

On the good side:
They are not laying off anyone.
They have a good cash position.
They will break even next quarter (just barely)

When pushed, they said "from ancidotal evidence and discussions with CEOs we think the bottom will be June." Then they quickly say anything can happen.

Bottom line (IMHO): It is a good time to accumulate AMCC. You buy when it is low. You know that a year from now it will be a expensive stock and you won't be able to afford much.
