Sounds like a challenge to me.

So I took 3 minutes to do a screen and write it up.

I didn't look very hard at this stock, and considering how beaten up the stock is, there's probably something about it that is unappealing, but it sure looks like a
"below cash stock that has positive operating earnings."

Looky here:

CAPA

$88 M cash as of 12/31/00, minus $9 M for acquisition in
January 2001, so they now have cash of $79 M.

Market Capitalization $64 M

LT Debt = 0

They are profitable:

EARNINGS PER SHARE
1997 1998 1999 2000
MAR -0.053 0.090 0.145 0.100
JUN 0.070 0.105 0.075 0.070
SEP 0.085 0.120 0.165 0.070
DEC -0.085 0.150 0.180 0.080

Total 0.017 0.465 0.565 0.320

Operating income for the most recent 12 mos was +$10 M.
