When you have the .BAT file working, right click the icon and select Properties, Program tab. Put a check mark in the Close on Exit box. Don't forget clicking Apply button.

I did this but unfortunately before this:

First step is to move the .BAT file to another folder. C:\Windows will do just fine. Use Explorer and drag it to its new home.

After re-locating the .BAT file, right click its icon, select Properties, Program tab. Insert the check in Close on Exit box, click Apply and close.

The result is it didn't work cause it couldn't find the file. I have deleted both the BAT and the PIF files.I think I know the proper order now, but have a question. Do I still put EXIT in the batch file, or does checking the Close on Exit box take care of this?

Sorry to be a pain in the hoooha, but I am actually having fun and learning something too. Thanks!

Bob
