gdr, how does amzn accrue the interest? do they only count it when they pay it, or do they count it quarterly and then pay when due? i assume the latter, but these clowns are shady...

This is from The Street.com. The number is accurate but is not deducting for the pay down in accounts payalble. If we want to discuss this here, I believe we should define what we call cash burn. The reason being Alomex added the payable back in as did I with my original calculation. From a technical view point, we are combining a little of working capital with cash burn. No one was inaccurate here but we had differing definitions of cash burn.

My suggestion is we analyze them two ways. One being their working capital and one being their "actual" cash burn.

What is the definition of "is"? LOL

"This is not California. We are predicting ample electricity supplies for New England's 6.5 million electricity customers this summer."

-- New England ISO Director, today (ISO = Independent System Operator, they manage the grid in the region)

So much for the dire media threats that as goes California so goes the nation, at least in this area. There are several new power plants in New Englnd that are now coming on line.
