The holding power of these stocks in the face of a poor out look is something to behold. At first I thought that it was misguided, but other factors are involved. 1) All of these semi-equipment companies make a real tangible product. 2 )Earnings are slipping but still respectable. 3) Even the least sophisticated investor knows that all the down revisions by analysts are buy signals. 4) Without even knowing much about the industry, investors know the difference between a top and a bottom and this sure isn't the top. 5) The falling BTB and the rising stock prices are a new pattern. Get used to it. Its not logical and the market usually is not logical or rational. Got to get back to my writing. Starting a new chapter, "Dumb Moves by Republican Presidents", this chapter is going to be a lot longer then I thought.. Jerome
