sorry Ajay, but grey market cars RARELY comply w/US crash

sold many many Euro grey cars and most of em were JUNK

in fact, one of the problems I encountered is insurance liability issues as euro vehicles (other than Mercedes); ALL were sub safety standard and more than once I had customers come back and want their money back on wrecked vehicles which the insurance company balked at fixing....

Dont know where you are getting your info Ajay, but of the 50 or so grey cars I sold EVERY ONE was previously titled (zero warranty), and had significant saftey mods.

These mods were usually side impact beams on every door and 5mph bumpers. Also, it was not uncommon to have a complete US issue EXHAUST from headers to tail pipe installed.

Antennas and speedometer changes were never an issue.

I would highly recommend ANYONE avoid such cars since as a dealer, I could buy em for el-cheapo and feed the fish who appeared on my lot....
