Louis Armstrong used to say to people who wanted to know what Jazz was "If you have to ask...you'll never know"

My personal Satchmo favorite:

If you ain’t got it in you, you can’t blow it out.

...the chart will roll into a head and shoulders formation and eventually fail...

We should nominate you for a cool post. I think everyone on SI needs to know what you're teaching us: That when the chart forms a head and shoulders. That means it is going to fail.

so far the chart has drawn a left shoulder and head in a potential H/S formation.

stockcharts.com[L,A]DACLYYMY[DB][PB50!B200!D20,2!F][VC60][IUB14!LA8,17,9!LF!LH5,5!LI5,5!LG!LC20]

If Support gives at 20 or so, I would think a retrace to gap support below in the 16-17 range could be possible before another bounce to set up a right shoulder ideally around $22-23, to complete the larger head and shoulder pattern that may be forming.

This could be the formation...if it plays out... that leads to the measurement in the single digits later this summer.

All FWIW, hopefully someone can profit from these thoughts if the formation comes to fruition...be it traders or LTBH'ers... short or long. Patience and capital preservation are key.

Luck to all

It seems the stock action has set up into the H/S pattern mentioned 4/24/01...

and broken down below the neckline today.

as well as an apx. double top on lower volume.

stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyymy[db][pb50!b200!f][vc60][iUb14!La8,17,9!Lf!Lh5,5!Li5,5!Lg!Lc20]

If the stock rallys back to the neckline on lower volume and fails to take it out with conviction(about $23)that would be the place to short, looking for the measured move to about $10.50

Tight stops would be the order of the day.

Good Trading to all
