When markets are as volatile as they are now I don't see why sitting still is a wiser move. I pared some tech positions yesterday and I intend to sell some calls I bot 10-days ago tomorrow. (I have to hold positions for 10-days, which is why I don't do as much trading as I did last year.) When they give you a year's profit in three weeks, it's probably wise to take some. Besides, I'm a bit concerned about the amount of call buying and QQQ buying over the recent past. Energy seems to me to offer better risk/reward relative to tech in general right now. FWIW
