Even CSCO could disappear, I was just reading up on convergence and new deployed technologies, and the big CSCO write off from their Just in Time JIT suppliers, leaves all those CSCO routers and switches out there, now granted, CSCO never laid down copper (BIG COPPER) and never was involved in mainframes or servers or even desktop PC per se (BIG IRON) but with the outlay of fiber channel QOS converging through open standards the SAN system will no doubt merge into the cheaper NAS storage system helping NTAP and hurting EMC and BRCD among others....then in occurred to me why CHAMBERS might be out there making negative remarks on the storage sector, because frankly the storage companies, NTAP, EMC, etc, could just add those plentiful routers etc to their storage systems, especially with the new IP storage protocol iSCSI (internet small computer serial standard interface) or i-scuzzy or internet-scuzzy as it is called, so that storage can be routed to and from anywhere a cheap as server and storage farms can handle it, and all of a sudden one realizes tha CSCO could be replaced by the new all in one Network Attached Storage iSCSI IP networking network appliances coming out soon. Hmmmm. By the way, China is not a conspiracy....it is and always has been a threat to the World. The Mongols, the Huns, even Vandals all displaced from wars in China, pushed out into Europe, collapsing the Roman Empire and Holy Roman Empire, even World War 2 to hear the Germans talk about it was to push into the Pacific Rim for lebensraum (living room/colonialism space) the Japanese thought so too, and the only United Nations War UNW1 was the world against Communist China, Soviet advisors and North Korea and that war is not over, it only has a waffenstillstand or weapons standing still cease fire since the communist refuse (like WW2) to sign any peace treaties. The worst thing for humanity would be a super industrialized Communist Chinese slave state. Anyway, enjoy these days when cash is king, soon we will return to an economy driven by capitalistic equities again, hpefully without Greenspan's failed monetary policies and with Congress returning to start implementing Bush's first tax cut fiscal policy one of many fiscal policies to come.
