Thank you, Roger! Your posts bring back the magic that many of us who have been here for several years grew to appreciate so very much. They are witty, fun, and at the same time, full of valuable information for all of us. Found myself reading your post very slowly, not only for info, but because of the pure joy in hearing your thoughts and not wanting the "story to end."

Still remember the "old" days when some folks called some of us "cheerleaders" because they thought we only wanted to mention "the good stuff".....and now we're called many worse things....because we are trying to figure out "what is what" in a complicated scenerio, and on top of that, they found out that we haven't been "cheerleaders" after all.

(If the old Roman gods are still there and are looking down at this particular field....there probably is some real chuckling and downright laughter going on....what do you think?)

Am very glad to hear from CHARTER that INSP is still part of Digeo!

It still does strike me as very odd the way their most current, and up to date, Proxy Statement is written, as if Go2Net is in the future, rather than in the past, and never specifically mentioning INSP by name at all in relationship to Digeo.

Surely, INSP has PLENTY of attornies to check things over...Mr. John Hall is new, and not even mentioned on the INSP masthead of officers, or on the BOD names as yet, and yet he is listed as Sr Vice President, etc as I noted earlier.

My personal thanks to Ms. Moehle and to Ms. Knowles as well for their information. Ms. Knowles was quite courteous to me as well when I spoke with her in February. To you Roger, THANKS again, for the time and expense of your calls, and the taking the time it took to retype all the information for our benefit, and especially under the circumstances. Feel better quickly!

Edit: LOL~~a little grub 25900

Roger, my reckless, foolhardy, rebellious and highly esteemed friend, I hope your recovery progresses as smoothly as the pencil stuck in your mouth moves across the keyboard while you are ensconced above an Eddie Bauer goose down lined bucket cover. Today's post continues the paradigm of excellence established by you. It is the most informative message about INSP to appear on this or the other INSP thread since your previous four-parter in March. Speaking of the other thread, it now is dead. impristine officially intoned a new version of Kaddish over it, to the tune of EVERYTHING IS BROKEN, by Bob Dylan. Now, if only the INSP corporate culture will permit, perhaps it will issue a corporate statement, acknowledging the Digeo relationship, with the same clarity and depth as the one provided by Charter. Thank you. By the way, your post contains the first indication that PA/VV increased its stake in INSP to 9%. Perhaps INSP will confirm this in a future filing with the SEC. I do have one question. It concerns the first sentence of the S-4 extract faxed to you.

On October 1, 1999 Charter Communications Holding Company, Vulcan Ventures, and an entity controlled by Mr. Allen, and InfoSpace, Inc. (successor by merger to Go2Net, Inc.) entered into a joint venture to form Digeo Broadband, Inc.

I have highlighted, in bold, the word and, which appears after Vulcan Ventures. Does the fax contain that word, or is it a typo? Its presence would indicate another partner in the joint venture. I suspect a typo, but would appreciate clarification.

With much gratitude and appreciation,

Sy
