You need to try Michael's Kitchen. Great huevos rancheros.

You also need to see the Rio Grande gorge. We go to Red River every summer, and we have to go to Taos for a day. Rode the river raft on the Rio Grande last summer and my nine year old wanted to "do it again" as soon as we climbed out of the raft.
