Both VZ and SBC stated that broadband and data projects
like Pronto and others (DSL+IP+ATM) are not effected by capex cuts.
All info available on their webs.
For example VZ telecom releated (excluding corporate netws) is 500 million not 1 billion.
Since SBC in not cutting broadband projects, its 500 million must comes from old voice switches or wireless.
ALA sell zero old voice switches in US and the rest of the world account only for 8% of total revene.
When this market starts to go down 12-18 months from now
Siemens will be hit hard. You better look for another job, may be in Efficient Network.Siemens demand for xDSL looks great.......

BTW, elmo did you see strong performance of Bell South, VZ and SBC in DSL space.
SBC data revenue growth was much higher then wireless.....
