Wall Street Professionals Daily Journal.
"Will WCOM Shorts Cover before earnings on Thursday? Wallstreet enthusiasts sure think so and for good reason. WCOM will report earnings on April, 26th before the bell and the street concensus is .26 cents and the whisper number is .32 cents. We think WCOM will not only hit the street concensus, but will also surpass the .32 whisper number as well. WCOM's chief executive Bernie Ebbers quashed rumors his company might issue a profit warning back in March and also Ebbers confirmed current estimates of .26 while speaking at the Merrill Lynch Global Communications Investor conference that took place in New York, also said that the nation's No. 2 telecom business remains strong. Financial chief Scott Sullivan offered the most compelling good news for investors, saying WorldCom should see cash flow rising some 50% in 2001. "You'll see an improvement of a minimum of $200 million, but probably better than $300 million, for the first quarter," the executive said." Sullivan's comments are important because rising cash flow would reduce WorldCom's need to tap the capital markets to fund its capital spending. We at Wall Street Professionals Daily Journal upgrade WCOM from buy to Strong Buy and set a 12 month price target of $36.00.

FON is another cheap one which will move in sympathy.
Only 2% less revenues during the recession. Building out away from just LD. Takeover bait both of these.
