John,

I know a lot of people who claimed to be bullish on a stock like Cisco when it was at 50, but said they wouldn't buy it under 10 because that price would mean something was fundamentally wrong with the co. Well, maybe the price was the main thing that was wrong. $450 billion dollars sent to money heaven can't all be wrong -g-. But to me, if Csco is worth anything as an equity, I should be happier to pay less rather than more. That is simple value investing. But many of today's tech investors have had their heads (and pockets) turned upside down, so they often seem to think the more you pay the better.

Obviously, many cos under 5 bucks never make it up, since all cos going to zero must pass through that zone. But i think Csco is worth more than zero, and I am magnanimously ready with my $3 to buy a share of that stock if it hits my price target. I will forego Starbucks at least one day a week to buy Csco at 3! But I probably will buy cappuccinos the rest of the week as my return on such investment is more secure -g-
