Watching the reaction to AMCC tells me that there are just so many shorts out there. Maybe even increasing after the data out today. That data is for trades placed on April 9. I bet it decreased and then later increased to levels higher than the new April numbers. That is the only way I can explain the gains in AMCC today...there is just no other explanation, IMHO. Day is not over but looking good for now. If AMCC keeps going, you can bet there is a lot of covering still to do on a lot of the optical and communication chip names. good luck. Taking a break from trading for a whole 2 hours.
