Dumb thing... After reading an article in the paper about airport congestion, I wrote a letter to the editor suggesting a solution: If aeroplanes didn't have wings, they would need much less space, solving the problem. After dropping it in the mailbox, my husband pointed out the fatal flaw in my logic. It's funny how something so obvious could be overlooked. Cheers, PW. P.S. The newspaper delayed printing my letter until April 1st. On April Fool's Day, they share the year's nuttier letters with the readers. Mine was among them.
