Kodiak, I think your point about it being a lot worse elsewhere is well taken. One of the things I have always been extremely thankful for is that I have the opportunity to live in this great country where individual rights are protected at a level that allows us to make most of our choices freely.

If you look at those countries where there are significant human rights abuses, the one common denominator is the lack of effective institutional protections of individual rights. It's not the people, it's the systems that make the difference. I have seen harmless people become very harmful when given too much power over their fellow human beings. That's why I feel so strongly that we need to protect the safeguards that prevent the exercise of power. The greater the power, the greater the safeguards should be. When it comes to the military and the police power, the safeguards should be very strong.

By the way, if you are a short term trader, keg seems to move to a trader's beat. I only wish I hadn't fallen in love with that stock and could make myself trade her. Ed
