Reminder to all:

Preamble, and this is always implied:

I am a student here like us all, so I got no wisdom. Better answers are definitely available from smarter people.

The reminder:

When we are expecting a turn to come, like we were today (we expected our 'a' to end today), it sets the mind up to be headfaked by any strong looking up. It is more important to judge the structure of the up and the TA pattern (i.e., not Elliott) being built than it is to just note that we are going up nicely.

This idea of tracking an alternate scenario is vital. When the alternates lose their appeal, strike with vengeance, but when they are still active, be a little fearful.

One has to track alternates in all the timeframes. We have been concentrating on the timeframe of a few days to a few weeks out and have discussed alternates for this timeframe. However, in the smaller timeframes that we trade in, we also have to consider the most likely alternate that will turn a trade into a loser.

At this point, I have no idea if the little alternate I saw this morning is happening. Just no confirmation either way yet. This reminder is not about today really. This may go up from here for all I know, 'cause, it's jello time baby! -g
