any Dell/Nokia combination or look could prove a wireless internet wunderkind for both wireless PCs and next generation handhelds.

there remain two main wireless sectors: (a) wireless internet and (b) licensed wireless specific spectrum. these two sectors, though, are coming together as one.

the next big thing is expected to be the wireless internet. growth is booming from a base of about 1 million total worldwide users. Nokia is attempting to lead in this department.

one reason you see other companies wireless specific handset sales falling into disrepute, including Motorola's, is because of their handset offerings. they've failed to compete with Nokia. only now is Motorola coming out with programmable handset versions.

both Dell and Nokia utilize similar manufacturing efficiencies. Nokia remains on the forefront of wireless handset offerings and Dell is just now getting into the wireless internet market too.

the wireless internet is expected to grow from the current 1 million base to over 150 million in the next few years.
