I believe because NAT and VLCCF have to pay out 85% of the earnings as dividends, and earnings are strong. the royalty trusts like HGT, SJT, TRU I know have to do that ... look at the dividends on those as well. why is the dividend that high...because everyone's buying PPRO, CMRC, CORV, and all the tech names we love so well and talk about so incessantly. also obviously there is a perception out there among a least some investors that all the good news is priced into these issues.
