John, RE: WCOM employees were up in arms about losing dollars because they claimed the brokerage was pressuring them to exercise and take out margin loans last year. The only reason why the brokerage firm was pressuring them was because they lost money in the process. If those employees had made money instead of lost, guaranteed that they would have been patting themselves on the back for a good decision, and remembered only that the broker had cautioned them that margining shares from an options purchase was a risky choice.
