More Floridians voted for Bush than Gore. The republicans had every right to combat the democrats attempted overthrow of democracy. I, for one, am happy they used every legal option available to them.

Dear ThirdEye, >>>>James Baker himself. Everything he did in Florida was diametrically opposed to core conservative principle.

All I can say is... I don't have a clue as to what your point is.

What core conservative principle? Follow the law and the Supreme Court said yea verily.

Any village idiot knows that a machine is more accurate as numbers approach hundreds of thousands.

Judge Sanders said in effect, you democrat's are full of it. He listened to all the evidence in detail. The florida supreme kangaroos decided to invent new law.

but I suspect that whining makes you all feel better.

you all have a nice day.

No contradiction at all. Liberals, not conservatives, believe in election theft-the ends justifying the means. Baker was called in to prevent a very obvious heist of the nation from it's voters. He will be hated by liberals because he succeeded. Just like Nixon was hated and driven from office by liberals because he, too, succeeded. The Republicans had walked away from liberal heists in '60 and '76 because they were behind by a few votes and didn't want to expose the fraud to the public (even though it was an enemy fraud). Surprisingly, they finally drew the line when the heist left them a few votes ahead. Maybe it was just out of embarrassment....

America's liberals do not believe in democracy, their country or culture, helping the needy, or anything else except power. They are obsessed with power, and when they have it, they will try to expand government to increase it. They have no compunction about trying to rig elections, nor about presenting phony arguments (like yours here) against their opponents for resisting their drive to power. Some day, the American nation will weaken enough to succomb to the liberal cancer. Whether that's in 10 years or 100 or 500, depends on the diligence of those of us who oppose them, and on the abilities of the James Bakers to be able to stop their machinations as much as possible...
